Orlando Science Center

Description

Orlando Science Center is a 207,000 square foot facility housing 12 themed exhibit halls, providing kids and adults with hundreds of hands-on experiences and plenty of educational fun. Exhibits explore the areas of natural, physical, earth, and space science, as well as mathematics and applied technologies. One of the Center's fascinating exhibits is "NatureWorks," where visitors explore Florida's diverse ecosystems. There's also the miniature "KidsTown" for children shorter than 48 inches. The Center includes a 310-seat CineDome, a massive eight-story domed screen with surround sound. The CineDome also features planetarium and laser light shows. There are field trips and outreach programs for science teachers and their classes.
