Legend holds that a Ute Indian Chief’s daughter and her lover from a warring tribe leaped to their deaths from near the fourth abutment of the bridge, hence the locals’ nickname “Lover’s Leap.” This structurally fantastic bridge, offers a dazzling drive over the Eagle River.
