Carson City is nestled up next to the Sierra Mountains. It is sunny and people are friendly. The community is clean and there are lots of things to do for kids and seniors and everyone in between! It's just 30 minutes away from Lake Tahoe, one of the most beautiful lakes on the earth today, and just another 30 minutes away from Reno, the biggest little city in the world.

Nestled along the Eastern Slope of the Sierra Nevada, Carson City, NV is a great place to visit, and once you do, you may decide to stay. The town boasts a picturesque downtown area lined with eateries as well as shops and the Nevada State Capitol. The city offers breathtaking views of sunrise over the foothills east of town and of snow-capped mountains to the south and west. Additionally, Carson City has a number of attractions from which visitors can enjoy the scenery: the recently renovated V&T Railroad, the Carson River Aquatic Trail, and a network of well-developed running and mountain biking trails ensure that visitors to the area will not run out of things to see and do. Carson City's desirability is solidified by it's close proximity to Reno's nightlife and the variety of adventure pursuits at Lake Tahoe, as well as an enviable climate that features over 300 days of sunshine each year.

The Eagle Valley, where Carson City resides in, is the most beautiful site. Your have the mountains to the West with snow and trees at Lake Tahoe and to the East the flat plains towards Dayton on the Loneliest Highway 50. Carson City sits in between and enjoys the veiws of all sides. If you get a chance to fly above the valley in an airplane and see it all from above, you will know exactly what I mean.

If you like the outdoors, you will love Carson City. Ample sunshine, amazing scenic views, outdoor activities galore and historic "old west" elements make Carson City not only beautiful, but also a wonderful place to work and play.
