Established in 1959 to preserve the history of railroads in Colorado, this is one of the oldest and largest railroad museums in the Rocky Mountains. The collection covers a vast array of irreplaceable memorabilia, including more than 70 locomotives and cars that are displayed in an authentic outdoor setting. A depot-style building is crammed with pictures, papers, and relics. The museum is open daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
