McGonigel's Mucky Duck

Between the No Cover Open Mics on Monday Nights and the Musicians that come through the other nights of the week, this place cannot be beat. That's actually true on many levels. Excellent beer selection with things on tap you won't find anywhere else. Their Wine "List" is more like a Wine Book, and their food is really good also. I like the Onion Burger and the Napoleon Sandwich. But back to the music....I have seen some great acts here and wish I could come more often. I have had the pleasure to see Ellis Paul, Vance Gilbert, Ritchie Havens, and Jimmy Lafave amongst others. If you are coming through Houston go to their website to see who is playing tonight. I haven't been to Trivia Night yet but I saw the Irish Session a while ago before Trivia Night started and those guys can jam.
