Cafe BellaLuca's Italian-based menu features a range of seafood, pasta, and pizza selections, all carefully prepared from scratch with a focus on balance of flavor. The delicious fried calamari appetizer ($9.95) is consistently among the most popular items ordered. An extensive wine list includes three house wines; let your server suggest one to complement your meal. Best sweet-tooth satisfier? It's a toss-up between the Tiramisu and Chocolate Decadence.
By far the best Italian Food I've ever tasted!
Excellent food, great meal. Service is disjointed, but the food is worth the stop. No Host or Hostess to greet diners (we watched several parties leave because no one greeted them) and we saw a party next to seated, but no one ever took their order, so, yeah, they left. The food was excellent, however.
Truth or Consequences has become a regular weekend vacation spot for us largely because of Bella Luca. It is the best food in New Mexico as far as we are concerned. Meals here easily best the finest restaurants in Santa Fe. You can taste the intentionality in the food, the careful choices made all along the way in the preparation. My first entree on our first visit was the Pomodoro Linguini and I was blown away by it -- such a simple dish and yet so delicately and perfectly prepared. Scallops just right, clams just right. A great portabella appetizer. Arancini balls we love. Pizza that is simply the best. Creme brule and tiramisu unmatched. A wine selection that is fantastic right down to the desert wines. Ambiance is also perfect -- warm, open, and chic all at the same time -- and we love being there. Bella Luca has made T or C by far our favourite weekend getaway 3.5 hours from home.
BellaLuca is a wonderful restaurant. Santa Fe and Albuquerque have good Italian restaurants but BellaLuca is special. Can't wait to eat there for Thanksgiving! Great place to eat!
Love this restaurant. Wonderful atmosphere and food and wine are always incredible!
