Located in the Southern Pacific Railway Depot, built in1915, the Brimstone Museum features a history of the sulfur industry, the Frasch Mining process and the role the industry played in the development of the city of Sulphur, Louisiana. Right next door at the Henning Cultural Center, you can browse cultural traveling exhibits from around the country and locally, art exhibits form local and regional artists, and art programs for all ages! This complex is also home to numerous events including Sulphur’s Christmas Under the Oaks Festival where it snows (with a little help!) every year!
