Aiken Thoroughbred Racing Hall of Fame

Description

Located at Hopelands Gardens, the museum celebrates Aiken's contributions to equestrian sports. Aiken-trained horses that went on to national recognition -- including Kentucky Derby winners Pleasant Colony and Sea Hero, and five-time Horse of the Year, Kelso -- are enshrined in the Hall of Fame. You'll find vintage horse-racing paraphernalia, exhibits, photographs from the careers of famous trainers, trophies, and owner's silks.
