AMC Highland Center

Description

The Appalachian Mountain Club's Highland Center at Crawford Notch is not only a great place to plan an outdoor adventure and learn more about the outdoors---it's also a great place to stay. Accommodations include area cabins and lodges, among them the onsite Highland Lodge with its private and bunk rooms. If you're more interested in camping, the center will help you arrange stays in White Mountain trail huts, campgrounds, or backcountry sites. While you're here you can try out gear from the L.L. Bean Room and take hiking-basics workshops. There's a cafeteria (breakfast included in onsite stays) and a store for trail supplies. Rates are unbelievable low---and drop even lower for AMC members.
