Antigonish County Courthouse

Description

Located on the Northeastern shore of Nova Scotia, the Antigonish County Court House was originally built in 1855. The building features a Greek revival style with a symmetrical, temple-like front, with the county jail attached to the rear. The courthouse serves as a monument to the area's prosperity in the mid-nineteenth century. The building is suntill a venue for the area's Supreme Court cases.
