Beaconsfield Historic House

Description

Built in 1877, this Victorian home is open for the public to explore. It was originally built for shipbuilder and merchant James Peake Jr., and is considered one of the finest homes in Charlottetown. It has eight fireplaces, imported chandeliers, and 25 rooms. Visitors can enjoy the surrounding gardens, delve into the home's history on tour, or partake in a special event in the Carriage House. The home offers a view of the Charlottetown Harbour.
