Beaver Lake State Park
Description
Beaver Lake State Park covers 200 acres of mostly hilly terrain. Activities include swimming, boating, hiking, and fishing. The park features picnic shelters and 25 modern campsites. Wildlife includes geese, fox, lake pelican, and deer. The area also features a wide variety of wildflowers. Handicapped-accessible facilities are available. Open mid-May to Labor Day. Pets: Leashed pets are permitted in park and campgrounds but not in any beach areas. Reservations and fees: North Dakota has a central reservation phone number for all state campgrounds: 800-807-4723. There is a nonrefundable fee for each reservation made. North Dakota State parks charge a nominal daily entrance fee per vehicle.
