This was once the home of Fredericksburg's most famous artist, Gari Melchers. The 27-acre hillside estate overlooks the Rappahannock River. It contains not only his work, but others by Brueghel, Morisot, and Rodin. The estate and gardens contain a formidable array of art treasures in the manor house and Melchers's studio, spectacular European antiques, and family heirlooms.
