Billy Bob's Texas

Description

"The World's Largest Honky Tonk" opened in 1981 and has become one of the most popular tourist sites in Texas, not to mention a necessary pilgrimage for any true country music fan. Billy Bob's Texas offers country nightlife on a grand scale: 127,000 square feet with 40 bar stations and even its own indoor arena that hosts professional bull riding every Friday and Saturday night. The club's stage features some of the biggest names in country music, as well as great up-and-comers. Past performers have included George Jones, Willie Nelson, Alabama, Garth Brooks, Chris LeDoux and LeAnn Rimes, among many others. Don't miss the wall of handprints left by the legends who have rocked the house here---where else can you find out how your hands compare to Merle Haggard's? The huge facility also offers video games, pool tables, a general store, and a Photo Bull (on which you can get your picture taken for instant rodeo stardom). Other activities offered include line dancing lessons, talent contests, and country DJ's spinning all your favorites. Unless all your ex's live in Texas, it's nearly impossible to avoid a good ol' time at Billy Bob's.
