Black Hawk State Historic Site

Description

Situated where Sauk Indians once occupied a village on the Rock River, the site includes the Hauberg Indian Museum, the Watch Tower Lodge, and four miles of trails along the river bluffs. Picnicking is available. Open daily 9 AM to noon and 1 PM to 5 PM (tilll 4 PM in winter).
