Boot Hill Cemetery

Description

Buried at Boot Hill Cemetery is a list of notable characters from the American West. Though the town is most noted as the setting for "Gunsmoke," real events in the 19th century gave it an infamous stake in storytelling of a time more wild and dangerous. Boot Hill gets its name from the fact that most of its occupants were buried with their boots on.
