Borglum Historical Center

Description

The Borglum Story depicts the work of Gutzon Borglum, the sculptor of Mount Rushmore, from the inception of his project to newsreel footage of Borglum and his crew going over the face of the monument in bosun's seats hung from thin cables to blast the granite. The Center, located on Rte 16A two miles before Mt Rushmore, is open from May through early October.
