California Science Center

Description

While the hands-on exhibits like riding a bike over a tightrope perched atop the third floor landing are quite mind-blowing, the real draw to this massive complex is the space shuttle Endeavor. You can actually touch it, while learning about how the shuttles work. Other notable exhibits include tributes to airplanes, chemistry, earthquakes, health and math experiments, and an IMAX theater (for a fee). Admission is free, but there is a charge for parking.
