Cameron Courthouse


Built in 1937 as a Depression Era Works Progress Administration project, the Cameron Parish Courthouse was definitely built to last. This sturdy building survived Hurricanes Audrey, Rita and Ike. In fact, many people sought shelter from Audrey in this building.
