Chignecto National Wildlife Area

Between New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, the Chignecto National Wildlife Area is an inlet of the Bay of Fundy, known for its high tides. The high tides carried over to create marshes in Chignecto Bay. The wildlife area is a protected region of the Cumberland Basin. It's regarded as a protected land due to the significance of shorebird migration to the area.
