Chinatown - Toronto

The largest Chinatown in Canada, Toronto's is bursting with restaurants, grocery stores, herbalists, and sidewalk vendors. Browse the many food shops for fresh Chinese herbs and food; worth it for the scents alone. If you're in the mood for a meal, try the spicy Szechwan dishes at Peter's Chung King; lunch for two will run you about US $25. Chinatown stretches between Bay and Spadina on Dundas, and then along Spadina from College Street to King Street. Peter's Chung King is located at 281 College Street, just west of Spadina Avenue on College.
