Clausen Memorial Museum


Located in the small fishing town of Petersburg, Alaska, the Clausen Museum displays tools and more. The exhibit boasts close to 45,000 photos, negatives, images, and documents, as well as nearly 5,000 objects and artifacts. The museum highlights the lifestyle, successes, and struggles of the area's history and fishing legacy. The museum and its curators and supporters aim to preserve and protect the region's history through educating and highlighting the impact fishermen and fishing families had on Petersburg.
