Custer County Courthouse Museum

Description

In the Black Hills of South Dakota, the Custer County Courthouse served as a dispensary of justice to outlaws, crooks, and other criminals during the western expansion and into the 20th century. It became a museum in 1976, and has since been locked in time to show visitors the conditions of a simpler but more tumultuous time. Exhibits adorn its corridors today, and can be seen daily by visitors. Admission is free for children under 12, $5 for adults, $4 for seniors, and $1 for students.
