Cuyahoga Valley National Park
Description
Though a short distance from the urban environments of Cleveland and Akron, Cuyahoga Valley National Park seems worlds away. As one of our country’s “Top 10” most visited National Parks, it’s a refuge for native plants and wildlife, and provides recreation and solitude for visitors. The winding Cuyahoga River gives way to deep forests, rolling hills, and farmlands. The Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail and Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad provide routes for discovery. Managed by the National Park Service, CVNP combines cultural, historical, recreational, and natural activities in one setting. For more information visit www.nps.gov/cuva or www.dayinthevalley.com or call 330-657-2752 or 800-257-9477. As you travel through the park, you may quickly discover why Outdoor Photographer named it one of the “Top 25” spots in the World for nature photography.
