Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad
Description
Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad (CVSR) is one of three main Canalway travel components - stretching 51 miles through the region. It provides alternative transportation to and through Cuyahoga Valley National Park and the Ohio & Erie Canalway. Ranked as one of the Top Ten Excursion Railroads in the country, CVSR offers daily scenic excursions as well as numerous special events – including “Grape Escape” wine-tasting events, Day Out With Thomas™, The Polar Express™, Bike Aboard! and more. Fun fact - the National Park Foundation named the annual Polar Express one of the country's not-to-be-missed National Park holiday events. Visitor’s Note: In many places on your journey, you’ll find CVSR traveling alongside the America’s Byway as well as the iconic Towpath Trail.
