Elk Falls Provincial Park

Description

This forested riverside park on Vancouver Island provides excellent salmon fishing. Visitors can also swim, but not boat, in the river and hike on a network of trails. The park has many undeveloped campsites, and visitors come to camp and fish year round. Park fees are collected between May 15 and September 15.Pets: Leashed pets are permitted, but not on the beach.Reservations and fees:British Columbia has a central reservation phone number for all provincial park campgrounds: 800-689-9025. There is a nonrefundable fee over and above any campsite fees for each reservation made. The maximum stay is 14 nights.
