End of the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center

Description

The center is located at the geographic end of the Oregon Trail, from which settlers could finally see the promised land of the Willamette Valley. The buildings have been designed to look like three prairie schooners in a train. Visitors can watch living history presentations and participate in hands-on activities similar to the everyday chores performed by the pioneers. Displays include artifacts such as cookware, quilts, and trunks, multimedia presentations, and a gift shop.
