Firebox Restaurant

Set in a restored redbrick building, the Firebox features a streamlined rustic décor and contemporary cuisine made, as much as possible, with ingredients from Connecticut and elsewhere in New England. Roughly 30% of the staff is also locally sourced—right from the neighborhood. Tuck into mussels in lager beer, rendered duck breast, or perfectly grilled salmon. For a quick bite and lighter fare, check out the adjacent Tavern at Firebox.
