Forest History Center

Description

The Forest History Center recreates an early-1900s logging camp. See loggers' primitive quarters where 72 men slept and survived on meager meals of pork, fish, beans, potatoes, and dried fruit. Learn about log drives by boarding a "wanigan," the barge upon which men and logs floated to mills downstream.
