Fort Erie

Located on the Niagara River in Ontario, Fort Erie was once used as a supply depot during the American Revolution for British troops. Nowadays, it is a fast-growing community in Niagara, with visitors coming in regularly from Buffalo, New York and Toronto. Crystal Beach and Bay Beach at Fort Erie are big tourist attractions in warmer seasons. The area also draws in spectators for horse-racing events and bike and car shows.
