Fort Hill State Memorial

Description

Hillsboro's Fort Hill State Memorial is a public nature preserve located on the Allegheny Plateau. Due to its unique geographical features, the area is prime for hiking and picnicking. Multiple trails offer an open-ended trip, perfect for those who love the outdoors. Perhaps the most interesting aspect of the memorial is that the hilltop enclosure is manmade, crafted by the native tribe more than a millennium ago.
