Fort Smith Trolley Museum

Description

Before buses, planes, and subways, there were trolleys, and this museum is dedicated to keeping their memory alive. Here you can see several restored electric-powered cars and other light-rail equipment as well as heavier-rail stock such as steam engines, dinner and freight cars, and cabooses. The museum also sits on what’s left of the city’s trolley line; hop aboard for a short ride in and through history.
