Gordon House Historic Site

Description

This brick home, built in 1818 by Captain John Gordon and his wife Dolly, was a luxurious sight to early travelers on the Natchez Trace. Although the house itself is closed, the grounds are open. Visitors may take a short walk to see where the couple operated a ferry across the Duck River.
