Governor's Mansion

Description

Both Franklin D. Roosevelt and George. W. Bush, Sr., have stayed at the Governor's Mansion. Call in advance to take a tour of the stately 1855 building and see its original collections of silver, china, furniture, and paintings. The gift shop brims with locally made goods including sweetgrass baskets, hand-crafted jewelry, and beautifully sculpted pottery.
