Guadalupe River State Park

Just north of San Antonio and bisected by the river, the park covers 1,938 acres of Texas hill country with fairly rugged terrain. Canoeing, swimming, hiking, and camping are most popular. Campsite reservations are recommended. Handicapped-accessible sites are available. Honey Creek State Natural Area adjoins the park and is accessible by guided tours.Pets: Leashed pets are permitted. Reservations and Fees: Texas has a central reservation phone number for all state campgrounds: 512-389-8900. This is not a toll-free number, but there is no fee for making reservations. Every Texas state park charges a day-use fee for visitors 13 years and older. Senior discounts may be available. The fee varies from park to park. This fee is over and above any campsite fees.
