Heceta Head Light Keeper's House

Description

On a tour of the Heceta Head Lighthouse, which still casts beams some 21 miles out to sea, you can learn how 19th-century lightkeepers lived. Afterward, walk down the path to the restored Queen Anne--style Keeper's House, which serves as an interpretive center and bed-and-breakfast. The innkeepers, both certified chefs, offera seven-course gourmet breakfast as well as the latest news from "Rue and John," permanent albeit somewhat evasive supernatural guests. Note that although the B&B is open year round, public tours are given only from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
