Heritage Hill State Historical Park

Description

Heritage Hill State Park is a 40-acre complex of furnished historic buildings grouped into four theme areas: pioneer, small town, military, and agricultural. Featured are Roi-Porlier Cottage (1800) and Beaupre Place (1840), and the restoration also includes buildings from Fort Howard, which was built on the site in 1816. Authentically costumed interpreters are stationed in the buildings. Open Memorial Day through Labor Day and 9/17-10/23. Special holiday hours and events in October and December.
