Hocking Hills Canopy Tours

With 10 ziplines and 5 rope bridges—all of varying lengths and heights—the 2.5- to 3-hour tree-top adventures here offer great value for the money. Plus, if you’re a novice when you start, you won’t be by the time you finish. The guides take you through everything step by step, cajoling and encouraging as needed. Don’t let their joviality fool you, though. These folks seriously know what they’re doing.

If your kids are adventurous, over 10 years old, and meet the weight requirements, they can join you. Less adventurous kids ages 5–12 might be more comfortable on the Dragonfly line. If you’re super-adventurous, try the Superzip, where you’ll be strapped in 85 feet above the ground and then sent zooming along for a quarter of a mile at up to 50 mph. Who says you can’t fly like Superman?
