Hopelands Gardens

Description

This 14-acre estate of ancient oaks, magnolias, and deodar cedars was bequeathed to the City of Aiken by Mrs. C. Oliver Iselin. It opened as a public garden in 1969. Behind its serpentine walls, the garden's curving sandy paths lead visitors through a horticultural wonderland sure to please visitors of all ages. Concerts are offered at the Windham Performing Arts Stage on Monday evenings from May through August. The garden is open from 10 AM to sunset year-round. Admission is free.
