Indiana Railway Museum

Description

Old-fashioned train rides that last a little under two hours take passengers on a 20-mile trip via diesel locomotive into Hoosier National Forest, through the 2200-foot Burton Tunnel to Cuzco, and back. Museum displays include diesel and steam locomotives, a railway post office car, and 1950s dining car. Train tours are offered at 10 AM, 1 PM and 4 PM on Saturdays and Sundays from April to October. Additionally, train tours are offered at 1 PM on weekends in November, at 1 PM on Tuesdays and Thursday from June through October, and on Easter, Memorial Day, the Fourth of July and Labor Day. The museum is open year-round.
