Inn & Spa at Cedar Falls

Guest quarters here are named for flora or fauna of the type you’ll find on the property’s 75 serene, wooded acres. All accommodations offer high-quality bedding and toiletries; a mix of contemporary country-style furnishings and hand-selected antiques; and the chance to experience utter peace. Nine guestrooms with twin or queen beds are in a two-story building with rocking-chair lined porches and a comfy, Wi-Fi-equipped common room. Cottages, which sleep two people, have queen or king beds, whirlpool tubs, decks, refrigerators, and microwaves. Five cabins, some dating from the 1800s, can sleep up to six people and have kitchens and porches; some are family- and/or pet-friendly.

The spa has a full menu of massage, body, and facial treatments and a team of highly experienced therapists. Look for seasonal offerings like the PawPaw Facial/Massage as well as good-deal packages like the Signature Treatment (a scrub, a wrap, and a massage). In keeping with the overall green philosophy, the restaurant features seasonal, “field-to-fork” meals. All are prepared by a Midwestern chef who studied at the French Culinary Institute in New York. If you’re interested in developing your culinary skills, look into his one-on-one cooking classes or the holiday season baking sessions. Other on-site amenities include a Wi-Fi-equipped meeting center, a rooftop garden, and a gift shop.
