John Deere World Headquarters

Designed by architect Eero Saarinen, Deere’s 1,400-acre world headquarters complex has won numerous awards for its innovative use of materials. The lobby, with displays of antique and new equipment, is open to the public for free visits. A three-dimensional mural by Alexander Girard uses more than 2,000 farming artifacts to depict 177 years of agricultural history.
