John Martin Reservoir

Description

John Martin Reservoir is one of the last public places where one can walk across the Santa Fe Trail and view one of the DAR granite jewels which mark the way to Santa Fe. Enjoy the interpreted trails, fishing, water sports, hiking and biking. The park has wildlife viewing blinds and is a bird watchers paradise. Stop at the park visitors center for information and visit the Army Corps of Engineers office to see exhibits of the dinosaurs and Pike expedition of John Martin Reservoir.
