Johnny's Po Boys

The sandwiches are scrumptious at the city’s oldest family-owned po-boy restaurant. Each creation starts with fresh, grilled French bread that’s then “dressed” (i.e., slathered with mayo and adorned with lettuce and tomato) and piled with oysters, crawfish, shrimp, or roast beef. Tables in the front fill quickly; try venturing into the back room for an open spot. Note that it’s cash-only here.
