Keeneland Racetrack

A visit to this track, opened in 1936, is truly an authentic Bluegrass Country experience. Although Thoroughbred races are only held for three weeks in both April and October, you can visit year-round to watch the morning training sessions (free, 6 am–10 am); grab breakfast and rub elbows with jockeys, trainers, and owners in the Track Kitchen; and take a free, self-guided tour of the paddock.
