The time is the 1950s. The place is a beach in California, and not just any beach as this is Soak City, a sand-sun-and-surf themed water park adjacent to Knott's Berry Farm in Orange Country. It has as 17 water slides, a wave pool, interactive wet-and-wild games, and a watery play area for the little ones. It's open Memorial Day through Labor Day and September weekends.
