Los Angeles County Museum of Art

Description

This world-class complex houses one of the country’s largest collections of fine art. Among the samplings from pre-history through modern civilization are the museum’s two sculpture gardens, one offering contemporary work and the other masterpieces by Rodin. Ongoing exhibits are inspiring, while rotating special exhibits showcase fashion, sculpture, film, and more. The on-site restaurant serves simple lunch options at outdoor tables, and L.A.’s outstanding food trucks line up along Wilshire Boulevard near the museum.
