Description

The Makah are among the Pacific Northwest’s many indigenous people. Learn about their history and traditions on a visit to this reservation. The Makah Museum has a permanent collection of more than 500 artifacts, including full-sized canoes and a longhouse. Changing exhibits throughout the year highlight specific aspects of Makah culture. The museum store is a great place to pick up unique souvenirs, including baskets, wood carvings, and other items crafted by members of the community.
