Marengo Cave National Natural Landmark


Marengo Cave, open since 1883, offers cave tours, gemstone mining, canoeing, picnic areas, and easy walking trails. The 40-minute Crystal Palace tour lets you explore gigantic flowstone deposits. The Dripstone Trail, which takes 70 minutes, will take you down intricate soda straws and totem pole stalagmites. On-site camping and cabins will give you a great chance to rest in seclusion with a breathtaking creek in the background.
