Millwood State Park

Description

Within Millwood State Park, 29,260-acre Millwood Lake is famous for bass tournaments. A fishing hot spot, it attracts leisure anglers as well as tournament pros. The lake produces plenty of panfish, including crappie, catfish, and bream. Wintering bald eagles, great blue herons, and mallard and canvasback ducks attract bird-watchers, and "Waterfowl Way," a 1.5-mile self-guided hiking trail, provides opportunities to view and photograph birds and animals.
